I have been looking around the forums for a couple of weeks now and thought it about time I introduce myself. You seem like a nice bunch of people and there's certainly some very useful info on these pages. Also an incredible wish list of goodies when I look at the various mods folk have done to their vehicles..... mmmm, now where to start? A bloke could be like a kid in a candy shop if given the chance (oh and the money too).

My car is an '05 model 6MPS. I think you can probably guess the colour.... I live in Newcastle NSW but jumped on a plane to Adelaide to go buy it then had the pleasure of driving it home over 2 days.

Car is out of warranty in 2 months and it does seem to have a clutch issue so I want to ask some advice
from folk who have had experience with how Mazda treat this issue.

That's for another time though. For the moment I just wanted to say gday.

Im sure there are many ppl here who have owned or still own a 6MPS who can help you.

Please search the forum about your clutch issue and if you cant find anything to help you start a new thread.

Have you installed the BOV and bleed valve yet?

(BTW for those who don't know Leon bought the BOV I had for sale in the forum on EBay, and I told him to come see us at OZMPS)

Thanks folks for your warm welcome, much appreciated. Hopefully at some point I can pass back some of my own (hopefully useful) MPS info in exchange for what I have already picked up here.

For starters, just about to instal HID in my high beam. Will pass on the results. For mine, the high beam on 6MPS is pretty ordinary and thats WITH supposedly improved halogens already fitted. The stock high beams were woeful... or did I form that opinion because we are spoiled by just how good the HIDs are in the low beam?

I am hoping the legality of fitment wont be an issue. First because the car already has headlight washers due to the low beam HIDs. Secondly because I think the "levelling" issue wont arise. After all, high beam is dipped when facing oncoming traffic so those drivers wont be affected.

Penguin, no mate, not installed yet but I am looking forward to the day. (bout the ONLY time one would be hoping warranty would be over heh?)
