Faulty Turbosmart BOV
Hi, just wondering if anyone can tell me if a Turbosmart dual port BOV can be serviced or reconditioned?
I have it set to vent to atmosphere and it used to give me a nice note on gear changes but for a couple of months now it hasn't been working at all.
I had a friend rev the engine etc so the bov would engage whilst I was looking right at it and I noticed that the internal cylinder or valve inside the bov looked like it was sticking.
Not sure if bov's have a shelf life? Might be time to buy a new one.

Bought some uniglide lubricant from turbosmart and then pulled the bov apart cleaned everything, greased it up and put it back together.
Works fine now certainly not like new but should hopefully get 6-12 months out of it before upgrading to the new model.
