Seems to be the flavour or the month.
Maybe we are in a financial crisis? It is only Hilux and Aurion's though

Yeah... but the TRD cars were crap. I had a senior police officer tell me the TRD Aurion he was driving was a "Heap of crap" in corners, and otherwise nothing but a comfortable highway car. lol
A fridge is still a fridge, even if u stick a wing on the back
I guess the first line said it all:
"It was designed to take on HSV and FPV"
They didn't have a chance at success, financial crisis or not. If they were to stand a chance they should have made a TRD corrola or something to take on the MPS/XR5 etc.
Its funny, i've seen a heap of done up corolla sportivo's the last couple weeks.....
Toyota could do with a WRX/Gti/MPS/XR5 competitor
In related news, after the announcement that the Toyota Australia is removing the TRD brand from sale, instances of the letter "U" being graffitied in strategic locations on Toyota dealership signs has dropped by a whopping 99%, a police spokesperson said today...
Okies, its now time to call a TuRD a TURD.....
Toyota.. the truth hurts..
