What kind of boost does my 2006 Mazda MPS run?

Also how much can they run before you start having problems?

Stock boost an vary. Mazda had a 'reflash' for the gen 1's that reportedly dropped boost ad power levels to make it a more sedate drive.
I've seen anything from 13psi to 16spike. They did this as soon as the car came in for service/repairs.
If you get a flash tune done (recommended), the tuner usually sets the boost limit at 17.5psi. I'm told that 18psi attracts an unusually high turbo temp, and is not really recommended to go over 17.5psi unless you have an up graded turbo.

that would really depend on what local tuners you have down there. or you buy a ecutek i think they are.
