    Default Hello from Canberra

    Hello!

I've just spend the last three weeks agonizing over the choice of a new car, I know a few of the regular posters here are also members of the XR5 forums and Rexnet so you probably know my story all too well.

Anyway, long story short I have finally made my decision between the WRX, XR5 and 3MPS and the winner is the MPS.

The final nail in my coffin was this morning when I dropped in the dealer to do a side by side comparison of the sound system in the Luxury vs the standard MPS. I was pleasantly surprised by the difference between the two, a real noticeable difference, unfortunately the 10 minutes I spent doing the comparison is going to cost me another couple of thousand dollars.

I'll be placing my order early next week, I hope to become an active member of the forums if only to ask stupid questions.

Honestly it broke my heart to do so because I did love the XR5 and the guys on those forums were excellent and I spent a lot of time there while considering the 5.

The decision to even take the MPS for a test drive was a last minute one (which is why I hadn't registered here until today) but I'm glad I did, it just felt like "my" car.

I'm also glad to see I'm not the only guy sitting at home on a saturday night with a laptop posting on forums
