    Default New to the forum

    Hi guys, this is my first thread on this forum and hope to learn more about the Mazda 3 MPS.

    Honestly, I've always been a WRX man, owned 2 (the last one being a 2008). Long story short, decided to get a new ride, checked out Lancer ralliart which for me was the greatest disappointment of the lot, the 09 WRX and the MPS. Test driven all of them quite hard almost as if the salesman wasn't there and have to say that the MPS was my favorite this time around. Being new to a FWD turbo car with as much torque as the MPS and not knowing anything about modifying them, I hope to be able to count on you guys for some advice when the time comes

    Won't be picking up the car till the 17th of December though but such is life.

    You guys do many cruises and stuff? Perhaps dyno days, tracks days or 1/4 mile days?

    Redskin congratz on your purchase Enjoy the forums lots of good info and helpful people! NSW guys do quite a few cruises, and the ACT crew have pulled together some really good runs too.

    i was lookin at the same cars prior to buyin the mps.

    What color did you get?

    I initially picked red but called them up and changed to grey. The red seems a lil too bright
    By the way, I couldn't check this out for myself since they didn't have a standard MPS but do they come with HID? The brochure says it's Halogen : /
    Didn't want to pay almost $3k more for extra 4 speakers, a sub and bi-xenon, since torque steer comes at the same price

    Redskin where in NSW ?????

    I wasn't fussed on the silver but the more of them I see they have a classy stance about them....

    Hey mate...Welcome to the forum.

    In answer to the above...the non luxury pack comes with halogens.

    I was like you and couldnt justify the extra for so little
    MPS is gone. Ghey Trail enabled....Not Happy. MPS 6 to come

    The *pov pak* doesnt have HID and you will find the stereo is just as good.

    NSW/ACT is very active and you did pick a great colour.

    I'm in Pennant Hills at the moment. Moving to new place in Lidcombe by the end of the year if all goes well.

    And yes same happened to me about the silver MPS. But they grew on me within 48hrs
