Hey guys,
Hey guys,

Ah you bought this car! I was watching it on carsales
Firstly the mods and tune (in particular the bigger turbo) don't add up to 170kw in my books?...
Also, general advice is its best not to run a bov on your car. When it vents, it's dumping metered air from the system, hence making the car run richer than desired.. People have success with part vta part recirc valves, but that's just a heads up.
Lots to learn here, just remember to do a little searching![]()
Cheers.

Fuel pump upgrade?
What electronic boost controller?
Think I know this car... Owner had looked after it well![]()
The numbers don't add up in my books either, should be close to 200kw mark I reckon. When I get some cash together I'm taking it to tunehouse. The BOV Is recirc the air. I've been reading up on e85 fuel upgrade? And also what are thoughts on the boost controller. The brand is "gizmo" and it's so hard to use. How much pound should I run??
Welcome, I know this car, and the previous owner, who's building your engine?
Hey musti u finally decided to join the forum.. welcome buddy these guys are great on the forum, ull get along with everybody..

Thanks guys, will sack the boost controller and tune when it's done.
Mabey it was a bad tune, sometimes when u get banana rods is from a bad tune, ie too much boost down low ,could be like bad luck as well, is it an Ecutek tune?
how many RPM are u hitting peak boost, those mods you should be getting at least 230kw if a BT.
i think I remember this car power seemed quite low with bolt ons , 165kw or something.

From stock, to GT3071, to substantially less modded, many lessons learned!

Yep, it's really the only option anyway.. Take into consideration what sam said, not 100 percent mix though.

Something not right there , 134 kw ATaw stock seems way low, average stock should be 150-160kw ATW , your 150KW tuned is lower than my car when it was stock.mabey fuel pump has something to do with it, with Your bolt ons and your turbo you should be smashing over 200KW ATW

I highly advise with all your mods to do your HPFP , very dangerous could lead to ZZB
I don't think they tuned it , your on less than 15PSI , Looks like a stock tune to me, I say they didnt do a propped tune due to low fuel pressure, and how lean were you running?
