    Default New Gen 1 Mazda 3 MPS owner!!!

    Hello everyone!!!!

    Finally bit the bullet and sold my bone jarring Evo viii MR and bought myself a black 08 MPS.
    I have always, since I first time I saw one, had a soft spot for these little things and knew I wanted one. But I was young and chasing dreams with 180sx's, S15's and evos and so on but finally, I've grown up a bit. I picked it up a few days ago and absolutely love it. It's the Luxury model with leather, bose audio and climate control and I can't believe I have gone so long without it!
    I'm looking forward to meeting you all at some stage

    Thanks everyone. Im in Newcastle during the week as I work for the RAAF and im in Gladesville
    on the weekends. I'll put some picks really soon, just gotta give it a wash first.
    It's got just over 100,000 on it but feels like a new car.

    Welcome Bud .. I was won most by the interior of the mps compared to its rivals, such a nicer place to be. Plenty here that can help you with moding advice

    Thanks dude. Yeah its a nice place to be for sure! Sooo much more comfortable than all my previous "imports".
    The thing that grabbed me was that I actually found it more of a rewarding drive than the wrx's and evo's!
    Sure they are nice cars but at the same time they can make a bad driver look really good with all the assists and computer controlled diffs and so on.
    With the mps...hold the tsc button and start the car and go for a spirited drive....you'll know straight away if you're a bad driver or not haha...all with a massive grin on ya face.
