Hi Everyone,
Thought I'd introduce myself, my name is Luke obviously and I live in Adelaide. I own a black Mazda 6 MPS with leather. Had it since November last year when I bought it from a dealer in Sydney and drove it home.
My Mazda when I got it home.
The first thing I decided to do to my Mazda was lower it, so I got me some BC coilovers from MPS Garage and wound them all the way down at the back and 3/4 of the way down at the front.
After Lowering. Much Better!
Since then I havent really done much to it. Last week I did a small mod to the stereo which increases the gain to the sub which has made the whole stereo system a lot louder and punchier. I have been holding off for new tyres until I found the rims I wanted. I still haven't found a set of rims I really like on the MPS, so I've got myself a set of RX8 rims in the mean time and they are currently at the paint shop getting powdercoated.
My previous car was a 1991 Nissan U13 Bluebird Attesa pushing out a solid 220kW at all 4 wheels. I decided to get a new car cos I was tired of rattles mostly. The MPS is sluggish compared to the bluey to say the least, but eventually I should be able to resolve that.
Sorry, I have a habit of making big posts, but yeah, hi!
welcome Luke .. hope you enjoy your stay !

Luke, your small stereo mod sounds interesting, care to share what you did?
Love the look with the coiloversafter seeing Nuliaj's ride on the weekend, I may need to get some too!
Good to see a lowered 6 they look hot when not looking like a 4wd
Welcome Luke
Yeah sure, it wasn't my idea to start with. It's a basic little circuit that I spliced into the signal wire to the sub. I haven't got time to go into full detail right now, I'm supposed to be at work, but I have a circuit diagram and instructions for anyone who wants to have a shot at it, costs about $10 to make and gives a significant improvement in my opinion.
Welcome Luke will see you around,
G'day and welcome aboard
