I waited 3 months for my MPS because I didn't want any other colour apart from velocity red. I think just stick with what you bought

Black is good! White is highly over rated for some reason and too safe. Yeah a set of tinted windows goes well on a white car, and you can go for longer without having to wash it compared to a dark color but,.....its White = Plain & BORING!!

Welcome to the forum mate! As mentioned, you could always CB wrap the bonnet, or a respray should be no more than $500.

pick up a replacement bonnet from say RRR RRR Auto Parts - New Genuine and Aftermarket Parts - Australian Cars, European Cars, American Cars and Japanese Cars and them spray that and ebay the oem bonnet.
