    Hey.. Just wondering are there any differences between a mps 3 gen1 turbo and a cx7 turbo?

    What's the differences? Is it a good idea to replace cx7 turbo into 3 gen1?

    GUYS play nice! read the link Sarcasticone gave you. Without reading the link from what i know, the cx7 turbo is for bottom end torque. The exhaust housing is different. If you want to change how your car performs and give it more up high go the mps turbo, but you will need to tune it.

    They were playing nice - no one suggested he go ask that on MSF :S
    Pretty sure he has an MPS, so would need (de)tuning if switching to CX7 turbo?

    ^^^^ this, the effort was made to go find the thread on msf and link it here, op appeared to lazy to read it. Short answers result. I think that's fair. I'm sure people that post on this forum are to old for spoon feeding.

    Reason why I asked coz I bought a replacement from interstate n when it arrived here, the part number was different.. Turned out to be a cx7..so wasn't sure if any differences.. Sent it back n got refund.. Was a bit of a stuff around lol..
    Ended up getting a high flowed billet wheel turbo.. Just started on my car yesterday.. .. Well yeah that's what happened lol

    99% of them are complete junk and are barely better than a stock turbo...
