Default How To - Electric Windows Reset

I'm sure this has been said before but I tried looking and couldnt find it (over 30mins trawling through the forums).

How do u reset the power windows again once the battery has been reconnected? Maybe I should put it into the How-tos once I know. Cheers

Push the button down for 5 seconds, up for 5 seconds and then down for another 5...all done.

Moved to How To's and edited title, so it will be easier to search

The image below is from the US manual (so I've crossed the bits that don't apply here)

Shakespeare's version above is the correct one. If the surroundings are quiet you can hear it reset with a click sound after the two second hold.
The 5 second version described above is not and can overload the switch circuits, unless actually specified for a particular model in the operations handbook.

Cool I did this today to my car (the 2 second thing) works great. Wish all the windows would come down with 1 button though especially with the remote, its a shame the Aus MPS doesnt have that feature, probably a way to reconnect it or buy the box that controlls it form ebay
