Default Bridgestone Potenza RE-11. Opinions ?

Been looking at tyres on tirerack.com which has some good reviews and comparisons.

I've looked through the sticky's on tyre reviews by ozmpsclub members but haven't come across this one as yet - Bridgestone Potenza RE-11

It doesn't appear on the Bridgestone Australian site.

Here is the link - Bridgestone Potenza RE-11

Anyone here running these. Your thoughts ?

I got a feeling they dont make these anymore, cause when i was looking around these were on the same spec as Yoko Advan AD08s, they are both semi slicks.. I got a feeling the RE-001 replaced the RE-11

Might as well just get Kumho KU36s, as they are readily available and cheaper than both AD08s and RE11s. And they are the same specs.

Yea KU36s are also quite good in the dry. Alot of my mates run it, but they said its rubbish in the wet

Well if the OP is looking at RE11s or AD08s, then I don't think he cares for wet driving performance.

Stil make them. There is a better option with the s04 now.

Tire rack is a great option fir anyone looking at pricey tyres. Not worth the effort for cheap ones though.

AD08's are still miles better than your average tyre in the wet.
