The clearance is more to do with the outside pistons clearing distance to rim not so much rolling dia.

Best to note all BBK are different and this is useless unless your are looking at the Stoptech BBK.

The template is only for the product on the template. Not for anything else. Very misleading thread and title.

That is so incorrect. When you are talking about clearances to fit bigger calipers, you have to be extact in your measurements. You cannot go with a generalized templete for all BBKs. 1.5mm incorrect measurement is the difference between fitting and not fitting.

    From my supplier,

    Mazda 3 (2004~2009):

    (1) small 6 pot with 302 or 320mm disc

    (2) big 4 pot with 302 or 330mm disc

    (3) big 6 pot with 330mm disc

    Mazda 3 (2009~)

    (1) big 4 pot with 302 or 330mm disc

    (2) big 6 pot with 330mm disc

There are bigger brakes for other models (like my little A4, it can have Big 6 pot and 355mm rotors, which I'll be getting soon, hopefully)

    what about rears

  14. #14

yes, same specs for the 6.

No specific kit for the 3 or 6 rears.
They have rears that are universal, you would have to custom fit them.

i doubt they will fit stock rims as they have a +52 offset way to much offset for any big brake to fit also the way the spokes of the stock rims sit dont allow clearance

$1100 is not a bad price. Who makes these? I don't recognize them. Will they fit a standard MPS Rotor or will they need to be replaced as well?
