Default What do you think alloy look

Thinking of sand blasting my rims and going back to silver/alloy colour. if i was to just get them sand blasted without spraying would it be ok? All my rims have been standard colour/grey/silver or black. Im happy with my rims but want to go back to silver thoughts?..... Cost of sand blasting and powder coating?

Yeah agree with cton. They'll look dull and pretty unappealing

The standard wheels are painted and clear coated

yep OEM finish is painted/powder coated silver and clearcoated.
By going off how easily my wheels sanded when i painted them id say its paint not powder coat.
What wheels are they? just have them painted silver and clearcoated professionally. i see no need to blast them

Paint them. And make sure you use an etching primer - or powder coat them.

They might look great when you have just blasted them but alloys, especially those where a fresh surface is exposed to air, will oxidize as fast as you can read this line.

Corrosion, both chemical and galvanic, is not a good thing to have on the only components that keep you separated from the road.
