Front or rear?
Fronts
Same here Greg, I have had mine for almost the same time and mine squealing as well, as adviced I baby them for over 100km. Unlike MPSI I had the front rotors replaced at the same time the pads went it as I was adviced that the std front rotors werent machinable.
Have a quick flick through my other post:

All I can suggest is give them a good hard bed in process to get them to face up properly, check that all the vibration clips are correctly mounted, and if that doesn't fix the problem we'll look at sending out some of EBC's stick on anti-squeal shims.
Squeal is caused by vibration between the backing plate and the caliper itself, nothing to do with the pad material, and is generally related to the pads not sitting properly.
Also switch the pads side to side, give them a light rub on some concrete while they're out, and give them a good bed in process again.

Just curious, were the standard pad shims left out when fitting the new pads.
An age-old problem with squealing brakes and there are a lot of theories. Showing my age with the introduction of Discs in HD/HR Holdens we used to put two hacksaw blades together and cut a diagonal line just over half the pad braking material thickness. This worked nearly every time. On the ones that didn't stop squealing we drilled a eighth inch hole through the pad in the centre of the hacksaw slot.
One theory is that the air trapped in the piston vibrates and acts something like a reed in a mouth organ. The shim allows an air gap stopping the air vibration. Hence a lot of brakes were fitted with what became an anti-squeal shim, a thin shim that was just over two thirds the circumference of the caliper piston.
Feedback from a 300ZX at Winton on A1RM Street/Track Pads!
The Australian 300zx Owners Association - View Single Post - QFM High Performance Street and Track Pads!I hit the A1RM pads HARD at Winton. ( i also replaced the fluid with Penrite SIN synthetic)
These pads are really good. I had zero brake fade on the stock calipers. I actually wasnt expecting much.
They remained tight and still usable even after the hardest laps.
Cant recommend them enough.
I need a set of stock A1RM rears for the race car now.

im having the opposite issue, my rears are the ones that squeal like crazy !
the fronts i never hear a peep out of, i have a replacement set here with noise springs to fit but am waiting for the next service to fit them.
the performance of these pads are insanely good, but the squeal from the rear pads is crazy.... its only medium-low speed braking that causes the noise.
Fitting the new ones up with the noise clip should fix the rears. That was the Mazda fix half way through the original 3 production run, and now that they're available, we're supplying all MPS rears pads with that noise spring as standard.
QFM A1RM Fitted to Nissan 300ZX!
The Australian 300zx Owners Association - View Single Post - QFM High Performance Street and Track Pads!Put A1RM's in last week, and after a suitable wearing in process...I am really impressed with them, both cold and warm...haven't got them hot hot yet...but so farm very impressed with how they pull up and peddle feel. To be honest they feel better than many higher priced pads I've used in the past. And definite improvement on the Ultimates I was using.
Highly recommend them to any zedder out there in the market for a new set of pads for the stocko calipers.

Used the A1RM's on my car (TT Supra) and HPX on my mate's WRX. The ones on the WRX stop SOOOOOOO much better even for the lower grade pads!
Awesome pads and service all round.
Thanks

QFM A1RM - Why pay more!!!
The Australian 300zx Owners Association - View Single Post - QFM High Performance Street and Track Pads!Installed a set of A1RM's front and rear just before Z Fest. By far the best value brake pads I've ever used, no pedal fade from high speed and hardly any dust which is not what I expected from a high performance pad. I liken the performance of these to an EBC Red Stuff but at a fraction of the price!

QFM A1RM again outperforming expectations on the track!
No link available, sent via email.GSL,
The pads arrived and were fitted up just in time for a recent club track day at Wakefield Park.
To be honest, I was absolutely amazed at their performance. They work well from cold and have so far not made any noise. When warmed up (one or two corners at the most), their bite was unbelievable (on my MX5).
It felt like I had the car standing on its nose braking into Turns 2 and 10 at Wakefield!
Their performance allowed me to brake much later than I have previously and I actually had to mentally refrain from hitting the brakes early.
And the best thing, they make minimal dust!

Tony

Ok.... So i just picked up my 4000 series rotors today, after waiting two weeks from DBA, Purchased my Remsa Pads from Greg. Cant wait to install and see what results i get!!
Cheers to Greg from GSL rally sports for the information and helpful advice with what pads to go for. Anyone who is looking at doin a brake upgrade make sure you give GREG a call first. VERY helpful and friendly, also quick delivery!!
Im sure alot out there would agree!!
Thanks Greg
Kim
Thanks for the feedback, no dramas at all!
Hi All,
So i have replaced my OEM rotors to my DBA slots, with a set of REMSA pads from GSL rally. When i pulled the stock pads the outer pad had a clip like the inside pad (most of you would know if you have done this) though the REMSA pads did not have it.... so i still went ahead with a long think about how we were going to install them without the clip.... we eventually put them in, and used the spring clip thingo that holds down the pads.... so far its worked, but i still would like to know how others went with theres..... should i be worried about not having that clip on the outter pad???

SupraForums.com.AU - View Single Post - QFM High Performance Street and Track Brake Pads, including Comp9!Got the A1RM fitted on the car with the brake fluid you guys sell. Even though I'm still bedding in the brake pads, I have to say you can feel the difference in the braking power these have. I had Bendix Ultimates prior to the A1RMs and they are a world of difference!
