Blue's not quite as bad, but it's up there . Honda paint in general is not great. There have been a number of "what were they thinking" moments over the years in this regard. I think my favourite was their use of tinted clear coat [i[under[/i] non-tinted clear for their Integra reds, so when they faded (and they did fade), it happened to the tinted clear that was under the top layer of clear coat! Ie nothing could be done about it without completely stripping away the full top layer of clear!

sold it cause only thing i wanted to turbo it which wasn't worth it.

I've had a few cars, all pretty different to eachother!


First car was an 88 R31 Nissan Skyline - super clean, lowered and tints, then got t-boned and written off.

Bought this........

R31 - Manual shifting reverse pattern Jatco, 3k stall, GT35/40, Forged internals, 740cc injectors, Wolf 3D. Ran a best of 11.6 at Calder. Was a weapon, but used to do 260km/s to a tank of premium so wasn't great for daily duties.....


So decided to do a ground up rebuild of my crashed 31.

Full respray in Audi blue pearl, coilovers, R34 brakes, turbo conversion, 3" and FMIC, stereo install etc. 200rwkw through an open diff was interesting. Got EPA'd twice which made the car harder to enjoy. Really loved this car but sold it to go overseas and took a bath on the sale. Learnt the cost of car modification the hard way.



Got back from o/seas and bought this LS400 - stock as a rock, and got swept up by the VIP movement. Did coilovers, big jap rims, tints, straight through exhaust with some Jap mufflers. Great car, solid as a rock, never missed a beat except a seized clutch fan which i converted to BA Thermos with electronic control - but in city traffic it used to drink like nothing else.



Missed the performance, but didn't want to get into a common skyline/silvia stereotype - so did something different and jumped into this Nissan Stagea. It was a mint example, had been imported 8 years ago and single owner since. All the mods had been done (better his money than mine). made 200kw at all four with a full exhaust, FMIC and eManage, coilovers, i changed the rims to BBS LM reps (19x10 all round) and just some tidying up here and there. This car was also a nice ride. AWD and manual used to get it along nicely, but it was heavy and as result the fuel consumption high - but it used to make people every where i drove it, and never gave me a drama. Don't really know why i sold it - was just a big car for the city and i never really needed the extra space.



Wanted to take the risk and buy something european. Initially wanted an e46 coupe but was too hard to find one that hadn't been owned by a young owner and neglected. Started looking at E39's and found them to be a much better built car for the same money. This was the first one i looked at - an 525i Msport Individual (meaning special order) with custom paint and matching stitching in the leather. I concentrated on mostly just cosmetic stuff cos you can't really make these things go any harder - tints, imported some rims from the UK, HIDs, stereo etc. Luckily it didn't burn me too bad, only had to do the cooling fans. Awesome machine, but at the end of the day, slow.



And now i've got a 2008 MPS in Metro Grey. Only got it mid week, and it's in dire need of some detailing. Spent 4hrs trying to vacuum out white dog hair from.....everywhere. Need to get a RWC and Vic rego, but will start a members thread once I have some pics!

So after saving for a while with a 1 to 2 ratio with my partents I got this for R90 000 ($12 000)
a 2001 Subaru Imprezza Wagon with a full STI convertion , This was my dream car at the moment and loved every bit of it !



but yeah after about 7 month I found out we where moving to austalia and sold it only to replace it with this untill the day we moved
a 1995 Renault clio Williams 3 , one of only 3 in South Africa , it have a revving 2.0 motor in a almost sub 1t frame , most fun you could have in a FWD car. I can still remember the winge of the dog box! , it had no radio or a/c ,with factory bucket seat .

So after moving to australia ,I got this little monster to putt around in
my Toyota AE70 Hardtop , all I needed to get to Tafe and back



but after a year or so the speed bug bit again , sold the corolla and got this...
a 1990 Nissan pulsar N13 with a ca18det convertion. the toque steer queen!!. it was not perfect but it was buckets lots of fun, untill it slaped a sticker and never saw the road again ... had a getz after this untill 2010




So in 2010 I wanted a racecar , so I sold the getz to buy a ute and trailer and my hunt was on for a racecar. So I got this pig a 1991 Nissan Skyline R32 that has seen beter days.

My list is not that extravagant
1975 VW L-Bug was slighlty longer than a regular beetle and had a curved front windscreen. was slow but served me well for 18 months, the day i got my license i took it out to the first gravel carpark i could think of and got as sideways as i could. it was bulk fun! also got rather funny looks from people when i got it a bit sideways in the we when it had bald tires.

1992 GQ Patrol which got written off after having it for 6 weeks.

1989 Ford Maverick - i loved that 4by i wish i never sold it.

1998 Toyota HiAce SuperGL which i used to carry around windsurfing gear. Dark metallic green and 20% tint all around made it look pretty mean, unfortunately it is as slow as anything possibly could be. 3lt NA diesel, 4spd auto and fulltime 4wd. "The Slug" Still have it and im trying to sell it.

1989 - SV22 camry - POS for $500 to get to work and back, re ignited my need for speed ( sad i know ) it had a blown headgasket and i CBF taking the head off so it sat in my driveway till i couldnt stand the sight of it and gave it to a wrecker

Now have,

1979 BMW 633CSI. after wanting an MPS6 for so long i spotted the E24 Coupes and fell in love, new job meant more money so i could now afford the 25k ( for a decent one ) price tag but no one would finance it. So i Bought an MPS6 which i also love and in the meantime i found the E24 633 for sale just down the road from me and it was only 3 grand so i paid in cash and now have both!

Finally and my favourite! The 2006 MPS6 stock as a rock, only had it for 3 months and i love it so much, everytime i drive it i cannot help but boost it everywhere.

The BMW and the MPS6 are both awesome to drive but in a completely different way. the 6 has all the mod cons and is allot better handling, but the 633 has this certain thing i cant quite explain. revving that big 6 out to 6 grand, all the noises it makes, that sloppy 4 spd, Bliss.

Yeah i will take a heaps of snaps of it when i get home from work. Its nothing special on the outside really needs a paintjob. i was considering puting matte black vinyl on it for something different and its easy. I have some BMW style 4 16x8 rimms for it off a 750iL which im gonna fit soon.

But hey, its a work in progress and if someone buys my van and the 633 im gonna buy a 2002tii thats for sale ( i know of a few ) they're well sexyer.
