    parts $900
    Total $1672 depending on how many hours it takes

    Yeah well the clatter comes and goes, so I don't know what's going on.

    Mine wouldn't make it there I don't think Doug, something is wrong with it, start up isn't bad but idle has a loud clatter on and off.

    But I just got back from Mazda and suddenly it's a 10 to 12hr job and the hourly rate is $132 so $1500 in labor plus parts.... FU Mazda not happy.

    You need to hear mine on idle and while driving and your would be mint compared to mine. I have been driving it for over a year like that. Oops.
