Dial in 6000rpm and let the tramp shake it back into place!

does every CD have this message. I made a cd a while back and put it into the car and it didnt read. happened when i didnt close the cd properly or something. All other cds i made worked though. Try a shop bought cd and see if it works. unless thats what your using now.

Tried disconnecting the battery for a few mins as well? Only other choice would be to take to the dealer i guess..

Ha! One year later to the day I have the same problem...

Anyone else had a fix? I just called the dealer and they basically said it was an all day job cause they have to pull the cd-player out and put in a replacement then pull the discs out of the old one.. He gave the impression it happens a fair bit, without actually saying it.

Think a place like autobarn would fix it? Mazda would probably charge me anyway since nothing else thus far has been under warranty.

Not sure if this will help fix it... But some interesting diagnostic info...

I was informed at purchase that my cd player had been replaced under warranty... Might have been the same problem.
