At XFORCE Performance Exhaust we are proud to announce upcoming star and Erebus Academy Driver, Adam Marjoram as our latest Brand Ambassador. For those who don’t know, Adam has raced in just about every possible karting category before switching to Porsche GT3 Cup Cars in 2012 as he embarks on his journey towards becoming a V8 Supercar driver.

At only 20 years of age, Adam is now competing in his second V8 UTE Series Championship behind the wheel of the Auto One/ Erebus Holden.

It wasn’t too long ago that Erebus Academy V8 Ute driver Adam Marjoram was hanging out at racetracks hoping to get an autograph from his favourite drivers, like Craig Lowndes and Steven Richards.

Nowadays the shoe is on the other foot after Marjoram was the recent subject of a Year 10 English assignment by racing fan Emily Forbes.

Being able to get close to the action is one of the reasons 15-year-old Forbes loves the Australian V8 Ute Racing Series.

When Marjoram heard about Emily’s assignment he was pleasantly surprised to hear that he had been chosen as the subject of her paper.

The upcoming driver said he enjoyed meeting his fans at race events, especially if he has spoken to them via Facebook Updates or Twitter, and can put a face to the name.

“It was great to meet Emily at Clipsal and have a chat to her about the weekend – and since then we’ve kept in touch via social media,” he said.

“I love using Facebook and Twitter to chat to people and get their feedback on new things.

“We race for the enjoyment of the fans so I really appreciate hearing from them all, and finding out what they think about our racing.”

Be sure to cheer him on at this weekend's Perth 400 at Barbagallo Raceway! Come on down and have a chat with Adam at his signing sessions:

Saturday from 11am to 12pm
Sunday from 11.45am to 12.15pm
