What is this screw/retainer?

Hi guys,

I was trying to remove the front license plate bracket but encountered two of these strange screws/retainers that fastened the bracket to the grille.

Does anyone know how to remove them?

I've tried searching the net but it's hard searching for something I don't know the name for.

Any info is appreciated! The post with most useful information can have a virtual cookie!!

Looks like a rivet to me,

Just drill them out from the front with a large drill bit.

It's rivets that hold the mole nose onto the front bar.
Use a 7-8mm drill bit to drill them out.
But be sure to have Lakin plate holders or something similar to put your number plate back on.
