Turbo timers are illegal in NSW, and all other states I believe.
With the oil & water cooled turbos you dont need to be as critical with their cooling down like the older oil only units, I would say if you are really getting on it, sure give it a few minutes of slow driving, or idling to cool down, but for day to day stuff it isnt critical, maybe a minute tops.

I would never feel comfortable walking away from my car while its still running. I would prob just stand there and wait till it turns itself off.

I just sit in my car for a few minutes after hard driving and turn it straight off if i've just been cruising around..... its not like it hits full boost going up my driveway.

IIRC the turbo in the MPS is designed in such a way that the oil & water will continue to flow after you turn the engine off because of convection flow. Turbo timers on modern cars is kinda rice/posing.

Turbo Timers aren't illegal in VIC, along with almost any other modification to a car, i was under the impression that only NSW had the over the top rules as far as car mods were concerned (even pod filters are illegal there lol)
