    Default 2006-2008 Gen 1 MPS Gearbox crunchy?

    Hi GUYS,

    Have you MPS Gen 1 owners, noticed how crunchy these gearboxes are?

    is there any reason behind it?

    whats the best oil you would use to smoothen this out?>

    Yes. This is the biggest downfall to the car in my opinion.

    I have replaced my gearbox fluid with Penrite SYN 75w90. Improved a fair bit, but still not great.

    yeah... the gearbox is built for toughness, not smoothness... unfortunately
