Default 1st gear wot acceleration bog?

Been having this minor problem since getting the hp-f tune. During normal launches everything is fine, but from a rolling start or taking of slowly if i mash the peddle the engine seems to bog for a bit and then open up. acceleration slows and the engine sound changes like it's under load. After a second it's fine and keeps accelerating.

All other gears are no problem just 1st gear.

DSC is off and steering wheel straight.

    Any thoughts?

Not that it matter too much, but it doesn't sound like a 3 in a 3 you won't bother with flat out in 1st gear lol ill have a go tonight in mine but it normally results in wheelspin and axle hop from anything near 1/2 throttle.

Sorry, this might be stating the obvious, (or I'm talking out of school) but if your rolling start, or starting off slow, you'll be doing 1500-2000 rpm. Mash the throttle, well, nothing much will happen until 2500-3000. Torque for me doesn't kick in until 2500. I know you have a tune ( I don't ) but these cars aren known for torque off the line.

Its why V6's/V8's get the jump on me at the lights if I'm not ready for them. No torque at 1500rpm.

Dale: Okay, first of all, they're extremely comfortable. And second of all, at this point in your life, if you haven't seen a bulge, well, I just feel sorry for you.

Is this how you bend rods and generally over stress the engine?

It's a 3. Does it even when up at 3000 rpm plus. It feels like the traction control cuts in even when it's off.

Just got some new dunlop direzza star spec semi's so wheels spin has become much less of an issue.

Bit embarrassing when you take of the lights and the guy next to you decides to gun it and you plant it, spools, bog and then it hits!

Maybe it's just something to get used to. On proper launches it is fine.

    5.3 seconds 0- 100 on dashawk.
