
Its no small job!! front of engine will have to be stripped down to access the VVT. The timing chain goes around the crank and so u need to take all off to this point..as jmac said 4-5 hrs..

I know its not a small job, but where's the integrity/honour of a quote if they decide to change it at will?
And why wait till I try and book it in to change, sounds like they F*cked up a quote and cant admit a mistake.
Ps: Its not the first time this has happened by them, the last time I was quoted to do something they had (claimed) done many times and was straight forward, the cost TRIPLED.

Well it would appear that we MPS owners can't rely on either authorised Mazda dealers or Mazda specialists to provide us with honest and reliable service the entire car industry is soooo sketchy you just can't trust anyone these days- I've worked in the car industry (sales and service) and got out of it quick smart because of all the dodgy pricks.
