    Default Rear Motor Mount Shot

So my rear motor mount is on its last days, and its needs replacing soon

dont really want to put the stock mount back in there cos they are shocking but dont want the vibes either...

can anyone recommend which one i should get that will give good gear shifts etc but with least amount of vibes...thanks and really appreciate it

    Two options in your case.

The least vibes is if you get a new stock mount and put Corksport inserts in it.

Next best option is probably the CPE mount.

You can get both here Nissan R35 GTR| Mazda MPS3 | Mitsubishi EVOX | Subaru WRX | MPS Garage

I don't think inserts are available for the 6MPS.

There is another option. You could go down to Bunnings and buy a sausage of polyurethane and rebuild the stock mount by using a spatula to fill the big end with PU. Let it cure for 48 hrs and it's ready to use. Should cost less than $30.

This option gives you the ability to choose a PU with a modulus that suits you and if it's still too hard you can drill some holes in the PU to soften it up. Or if you really don't like it you can cut it out and try again with a different hardness. Have a look at Sikaflex and Bostik.
