Hi guys. I have in my possession a ecu loom that looks like it will require some modification, However it has ALOT of glue holding it together. What would be the best was to remove this without effecting the plastic or the existing wiring? I had a though of boiling water but there might be a better way.. Or that might not work at all lol.

Heat gun should melt the glue enough to do what is required, I have one at home, we can have a go at it if you want to swing by at some stage.

Sounds good after looking a bit online I don't understand why mine looks like it does. There are some photos on the us forums and they don't have the 90 degree bend.. If only it was 10cm longer

You could really misinterpret that comment if you tried

And no matter how hard I twisted it, pulled it or pushed it, we just couldn't get it to fit.......there, now its just gone to a whole new level of wrong.

Just let me know Justin, we can use the bunnings special ozito heat gun to remove the bulk of it, then use the portasol to get to some of the finer areas.

It's not fair that Matt has seen it (and done all those other things!) Since we're trying to help the wider MPS community with these sorts of problems you should post some pics when you're able.

    10cm longer?

Would that help it to squeeze into the tight fit in the front of the box? (battery)
