Default A bit of help with oil...

    Hi guys,
just curious ive read on a lot of American forums that they use Pennzoil 5W-30 in their cars.
I was just wondering if this is the best stuff we can get in Aust?

I was thinking maybe this or this?

Which one would you guys go with??

    Thanks for your help.

I currently use the factory oils for the MPS, but in my old SSS I used to only run Mobil 1 until I got onto NEO Racing stuff, after that never turned back...

I recently changed to Castrol Edge 0W-40 and so far I have noticed that it runs 1-2 degrees cooler than the stock Mazda oil.

Everyone's going to give you different answers based on their own personal preferences. Best to try out different ones and see which one you like.

It's a shame more mechanics in Australia don't use Agip. In europe its renowned for being used in Ferrari's and F1 cars. My mechanic is one of very few in Australia that import it, many simply won't because it costs a bit extra.

    Well that's the thing.
I'm not the most mechanically minded.
So I wouldn't know what to be 'feeling' for.

With so many cars these day having extended sevice intervals & large volume sumps , its suprising that more oils dont come in 6L......just another way for oil companies to rip us off i suppose!!!
