Anyone install evo 9 Recaro Seat in the mps3 or any bucket seat?

Picked these badboys off a mate im wondering if anyone has installed these or any type of bucket seats in their mps3 and how did they bypass the airbags and what rails did you use?

Bypassing factory airbags in a road car is illegal, and just plain stupid.

very nice seats, but unless you have a track car only, its also illegal

im sure there are rails out there, but not worth the effort if its a road car

You can still put them in a car without side airbags, I would nearly buy a car just to install those seats

They are actually very comfortable... I'm a big fan of these type of seats and would love to install them for track.

For track I have seen WRX seats in a MPS, no prob.

Obviously the old resistor in the airbag sensor (don't ask me what size ect, no idea) and custom rails and they work no prob. Also seen this for aftermarket steering wheels but again airbag bypassing is baaaaaaaaad

if its a dedicated track car, then you would be stripping all that stuff out, adding roll cage and a 5pt harness. who needs airbags when you have a helmet and strapped into the seat. it'll probably be a hindrance getting out of the car if the airbags deployed on a track lol
