Hi All,
For those who haven't yet seen this in my 'Members Rides' thread, below are pics of the process used to convert the ugly red/black patterned dash strips to Carbon Fibre pattern.
I have posted the pics a stage-by-stage pictorial.
This process is completely reversible if you decide you want the factory pattern back.
Anyone wanting theirs converted also, please send me a PM.

Adding the finishing touches - felt to insulate against rubbing when installed back into the dash.
Dash strips installed.
Lastly, a metallic silver 'MPS' decal will be added the the LHS of the passanger dash strip, for even more of a factory finish.

Was that red standard before?
Looks great now! Very nice, top job!

Looking good
This is one of the first mod's everyone should do.
I have even changed mine but I just purchased the silver one from Mazda (the sp25 one)
I do not know why I have not heard of more people doing this as like you I hated the red/black panels.
Have you got someone to do your sticker? I am still to get mine done but want to go the orange/red to match the mps logo in the tacho.
This line of work is what I do day-to-day, so I will make the MPS logo myself.
Would you like me to produce one for you? I only have one orange at the moment though.

Very interested.
Where do you get the Vinyl from?
