Default Gaming Headsets/Ear pieces what do you use?

Hey all, im about to buy a headset but not sure what to get doesn't anyone on here use something they can recommend?

Im happy paying up to $65 but I don't want to keep changing the settings on the ps3 between headset audio and HDMI audio...

I also would prefer wired connection.

    Thanks all
    James

TurltleBeach is the bomb. If you get some of the px21 (it's only stereo but) they should be like ~70 bucks (shop around) and they have stereo voice chat. I've got the same as Jrbris for the xbox and they are really sweet... these are my PC Pair Wireless Gaming Headset G930 but i still use the px21 as they feel ligher on your head.

I got sick of going through a succession of cheap headsets for my PC gaming and ended up with a set of Audio Technica ATH-AD700 cans.

Had them now for about 2 years and love them to bits

My mates and i all use the Astro A40 7.1 wireless system. Its about $280US +PS3 chat cable +postage but its great.

A40 Wireless Systems - Wireless Systems

Also there is an option on PS3 to have audio out HDMI and optical at the same time so no need to chage settings if you dont want to use the headset.

And Toddy likes stabbing me in the back and our other mate T-bags so I gotta have the Astro's to hear em coming and Claymore that s*** up!

Astro's are probably on the top end of the market as far as gaming headsets go

You wouldn't get stabbed in the back if you were actually MOVING Andre
