Name of Phone: Bob, the Iphone4

    Issue: it's retarded

Cause if known: not really. We talk a lot, but it doesn't really understand my needs.

Seriously, I haven't seen some of the functions listed on this site. Battery level? Signal level? ?

It does stream music well. Basic (very basic) controls are available. But nothing like actually using the cable on an IPod. Big miss there in my opinion from Mazda. Look at the integration possibilities from the clarion and pioneer systems showcased lately here.

Still, I love my car...and my IPhone. Just wish they'd work their shit out!

Boss: Okay, I mean, we can see your bulge.
Dale: Okay, first of all, they're extremely comfortable. And second of all, at this point in your life, if you haven't seen a bulge, well, I just feel sorry for you.

I had a Nokia N97 it synced with the car well, but it wouldn't display any information about the song playing, and would take up to 30seconds to change track... and when I would answer the phone, I would always have to enable the bluetooth headset on the phone... POS it was...

I recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy SII, it now works flawlessly, shows all the music info, changes track pretty much instantly, and I don't need to stuff around turning the blue tooth on and off when it would freeze like the N97... making calls with it is a breeze too...

Yeah, I was soooo happy when I got the phone and it showed all the info... I was so annoyed when I bought the car and they said it would show all the info and it didn't... the SGSII works perfectly with the GenII

I'm still going to wait for the official IOS 5 release.

At least there's definitive proof now that it is possible to display this info on Gen IIs and it's down to the handset Bluetooth revision, not the car.

Yep I have joined the 21st Century.

I am still annoyed that in the 21st Century I need to carry two phones (one for Business and one for Personal), in the 20th Century one phone was all I needed. That is progress for you.

but the really annoying part is that the S2 does what I need re the divert indicator but only for 3 seconds or so. So is useless if you are not watching the phone when it rings.

But i am loving have the net and emails on the phone.
