RPW - Test vehicles required for new Flashing Software - all models (Except Rotaries)

RPW has now got our two version of software up and running, and we are ready to start the development work on the Mazda vehicles.

The two software options we currently have is

Mazdaedit for 1st generation vehicles
MMC Flasher for 1st and 2nd generation vehicles.

We are looking for any vehicle (Stock to modified) which will get a heavily discounted tune performed. This will be done over two stages

(A) First stage is to bring the vehicle to our shop where we will be reading the rom off the vehicle only. From there we will be then developing the definition files with some very renowned coders to enable us to do full tuning. Basic datalogging will also be checked at the same time.

(B) Second stage will be once everything is ready, to bring the vehicle in and a tune performed. All parameters will be looked at including boost curves, CEL codes, fuel curves, ignition etc

Depending upon the vehicle, we will use whichever flashing tool is most appropriate.

To clarify, this exercise is not about our tuning ability. This is an opportunity to get a better understanding of how the stock ecu works, get familiar with the software and data logging procedure.

Costs to do this will be approx $200.00 for each test vehicle We would prefer modified vehicles over a stock one to give us something to really tune to.

As we get each different type of vehicle, i will update this thread with the details. We will post separate results later for each model so people can follow. As we do more work in the future we will continue to post results.

Please contact me Via PM so that I can ensure that if we get multiple contacts from same model vehicles, we give the first person to contact us first chance.

There will be no risk to the vehicles, we are very cautious when tuning new vehicles with new software, so there won't be any attempts to make very high horsepower levels initially.

Any test vehicles, wanting more advanced tunes later, will also receive a discounted tune off normal pricing (To the $200.00 value) to ensure they are not being prejudiced.

P.S We don't do rotaries sorry as we don't have the knowledge or experience and am honest enough to say so. They are very easy to damage.

Would love to see some 1st gen models as well. Not sure which years they are I am still getting a hang of the models
