Good to see someone setting up here to service WA Mazda customers. I'm currently running a CP_e PNP system but would be happy to look at a re-flash as long as it was reliable and gave smooth running. Like KMH001 I don't really care what the total HP is out the back end as long as the car remains reliable, driveable, smooth and responsive. I still have my car serviced by Mazda so am interested in a system that does not defeat or is defeated by the Mazda analytical system. My current system enables me to isolate it at service time so the Mazda computer simply doesn't see it. You might like to post your address and contact details here for general reference. Welcome!

Going well - I am just about to finish up a "Training Course" which just outlines the reading / writing / flashing and get out of trouble with a bad flash procedure with the software with the guys on video link with MRT. Mostly just a familiarization procedure. I am just completely swamped with work this moment which has slowed everything down so apologies for the delay in getting this up and running.
We are going to revise our date to end of February now just to get all the I's dotted and T's crossed. This is not a bad thing as it will give everyone more time to save up for some brilliant Ecutek tuning
I agree there Doug_MPS6 - my focus is to get the most horsepower / torque as we can, but without over stressing and killing the turbo. Smooth power delivery is so much more important and getting flat fuel and boost curves. It takes time to develop these types of tunes, which is where utilizing the research of already developed Ecutek tunes, this will simplify the process immensely.
I will do some more posting soon and will start a new post with all our contact details as well - thats a good point Doug_MPS6

Sorry for delay on getting back to updates - we will be ready to start tuning as of March. Ready to start taking bookings now. We also have some MPS parts in stock now as well including exhaust systems blow off valves, and some grimmspeed 3 ports are due in as well.

Have you got a ball park figure for a basic tune on a stock car with a an intake?

The price is the same for the inital tune with ecutek regardless of what modifications are on the vehicle.
Once it is tuned, any retuning there after is on a straight hourly rate. That is because the inital tune includes purchasing of the licensing for the ECU which is locked into the ECU, base maps and modifications to those maps to suit your individual modifications.
Personally, I feel it is not worthwhile retuning your vehicle until you have at least a K&N panel replacement filter (Pod filters are useless) and an exhaust system to get the best results and value for money.

I am going to start a new thread soon specifically on the Ecutek tuning, with results as we finish vehicles.
But to get this out and into the community, we are going to be offering a deal on the first 5 vehicles on pricing.
The recommended retail price set by MRT as a guide is $1990.00 for a full tune (For the first time).
I am going to offer for the first 5 vehicle we do as an incentive to get some vehicles out there with positive results for a change, we will offer the tuning package for $1500.00.
This is only for the first five vehicles to book in though. As further incentive, if you have any other work done by us at same time, exhaust, cold air intake or intercooler upgrade, we will do so at Trade Pricing which can save you some further money.
Please don't PM me about this - if you want to be one of these five people, contact our workshop and make a booking.
I am extremely excited about this and especially after going through the software tonight, can really see why I struggled so much with the other programs as they just did not the data so clearly defined and how they all relate to one another.

It's pleasing to hear you guys are getting into into the MPS. I was a little worried when I moved over here that there wasn't any workshops that had any experience with the MPS. I'm not too far away from Osborne Park so that's a plus![]()

The Grimmspeed units are fantastic, but when you get them in and start installing them, PLEASE let us know where to attach them to stop them making a ticking noise through the firewall :P
I'll also be keen to see cooler/piping kits if this was on your list of things to bring in to WA![]()

So happy you guys are doing EcuTek for the MPS's. I live 1km away from you guys!
