looks great except for the rear tails half way up the back.....and since I don't see them I could live with it....

I just wet my pants, and my wife thinks it becuse of her.![]()

there is certain things to help with that trouble....![]()

Crusher, I wouldnt quite say 25% losses, maybe in a rear wheel drive but not in a front wheel drive, you're looking at about 15-16%... (far less mechanical loss in a fwd, distance is a factor due to weight of mechanical parts) Take the MPS as a standard vehicle, 190kw at the motor, 160kw atw... approx 15.8% losses. So if yours is pumping out 284hp at the wheels, and if my calculations are correct you have approx 329hp. Not quite 340, pretty close though!
Have you run your car down the quarter mile?
By the way, if this was released here I would have a deposit down straight away! Hot looking car, and nice sporty interior!

seconded. 15% sounds about right, but even then its open to interpretation.
what torque are u generating crusher? peak hp doesnt tell the whole story.
theres now an xr5 in oz with stock turbo and internals running 215kw at the wheels with 440Nm atw. a smidge over 500 torques at the fly.![]()
im pretty sure he will be heading out to WSID very shortly.......try and beat his time then i will be impressed. the only number worth bragging about is the ET![]()

Peak Power output is for talking, torque is for winning.

This Focus is not bound 4oz says FPV,s Harold Marsden ,what a pity ,apparently retail price landed on our shores are estimated to be $75k .Ford bean counters feel at that price it would struggle for hot hatch market share. The good news is FPV may bring out an oz version in 2011/12 hopefully priced at around $60k .Col
