One of those was mine Interesting with the low numbers from the performance vee-dubs for November, December should be high as several ships docked late Nov!

Why does the Focus outsell the MPS3 3:1? Aside from price??? Also interesting to see half the Focus RS' have sold!

Why does the Focus outsell the MPS3 3:1? Aside from price???

I have a few theories around this (besides cost diff):

- It seems every second ad I see on TV at the moment is for Ford. They're campaigning very hard.
- The XR5 is much less 'polarising' in terms of straight line performance than the MPS. I think the MPS frankly would scare a lot of people away.
- A lot of companies would use Ford for their fleet, so I think there'd be a lot of XR5 company cars running about

There are three times as many XR5's on business fleets. However, almost three times as many are also bought privately.

If I was to pick between the XR5 and the MPS today, I would pick the XR5....the choide would got nothing to do with price. Just like it was 2 years a go when I got my MPS a go, price was not a reason not to get the MPS.
