Post May 2011 Sales Results - Top Ten, Mazda and Performance Model Breakdown

An interesting month with the effects of the supply shortage hitting many of the Japanese marques. As such I have split the Top Ten Marques into separate Monthly and YTD tables. Note especially that Honda was outsold by Kia in May with the former dropping out of the Top Ten. Of course this is likely to turn back around in the coming months when supply resumes to normal levels.

    Enjoy....

What's interesting about the numbers is that Hyundai have shot forward, no surprise as their adverts are consistently playing on the television! However Honda seems to be slipping away, though that does happen when your range looks a little tired and unexciting!

    Interesting nonetheless

    Thanks Mr MazdaGuru!

Honda range is seriously bad now, they used to have some decent looking cars, they now all look like they are for old men and subaru is following them

Gen 2 Mazda 3 is proving to be as popular as gen 1 , Mps3 is a slow seller though still, pity they are such a awesome car . Is supply from Japan an issue with the MPS ???

Sales have been poor even before the issues in Japan, however that is not to say it is not an issue now.
