When I had mine it was fine.. Id suggest you had it over tightened.
I am more inclined to suggest that they were manufactured with some pretty slack tolerances, meaning some mounts were practically vibe free, where as others would rattle your fillings out depending on how the gearbox and sub frame bolt holes were positioned.

Its a great mount, youll notice improved shifting and a generally more connected feeling with the car, it will vibe a bit to start with, but these will settle down considerably in about a month or two, I only really notice mine with the AC on, and given that your in FNQ I'm guessing this will be on a fair bit.

    Glad you like it,

Just a tad warmer up there than here in Sydney, I hear that February is practically unbearable, and its not like you can go for a swim at the beach either.

YEAH just a tad its not the heat that gets to you ,its the humidity Yes u are rite no swimming in the sea, but we do have beautiful mountain streams in the rain forest ,we have a pool with a waterfall backing on to rain forest if u ever want to come to Cairns Fnq .

My parents have a holiday house up there, south of Cairns in Mission Beach (opposite Dunk Island), great spot for a holiday...if the weathers good.

No worries, unfortunately we dont get up there nearly as often as I would like, usual young family commitments etc.
But will definitely let you know next time we are heading up there, will have to bring the kids in for a karting session.

Anyway....back to MPS garages engine mount topic
