Yeah the car in the photos is the FW07 'a' model that took Jonesey to third overall in 1979. In 1980, driving FW07 b, c and d models he won the championship and Williams won the constructors title.
Here's another taster of what you'll find at York.
Don't have the details on this one, but I think it was a formula 1 car of the 1950's and was driven by Stirling Moss (could be wrong though). It's in immaculate condition.
Check out the drum brakes at the front.
Or how about this very special car, a 1914 7428cc 50hp Rolls Royce Landaulet B-series "Silver Ghost". I can't imagine what a car like that is worth. You're not supposed to put your hands on the cars in the museum, but I couldn't help reaching out to touch this one.
Is it a car or an aeroplane? It's not a Ferrari, but it has a Ferrari engine and also seems to have working rudders.

It's a great Museum and a great little historic town. If ever in Perth - it's well worth the visit. A nice cruise also out to York.
Has good taste too, he had a Honda S600 Roadster, same as mine when I was thee a couple of years ago.![]()
