    How does this initally work? is it similar to a flash tune?
    Which would work better if theres a difference?

    Its a piggy back computer, it will plug into the factory ECU harness and allow you to modify the tune...

    Can this remove performance restrictions etc...
    Does it work like a hypertech?

    It is a lot more complicated than a Hypertech.
    It needs the user or someone to actually make a custom tune to suit, there is no generic tunes.
