Corksport SRI & TIP

Hi all.
Well, I just installed my sri, bitch of a job but totally worth it.

Sound is awesome, but there is one noise I'm not so sure about. You can hear the rush of air as you come on boost, and the stock bypass valve working when you lift during high-boost (heaps louder, sounds almost like a VTA).

On light boost though (like 5psi or even vacume), when I lift off throttle, there is a strange hooting noise, sounds like an owl!
Has anyone else heard this before?
Is it the stock bpv operating (when its not being drowned out by rushing air) or something like that?

Hope someone with more experience can help.

The owl sound is just the noise through the metal intake. Nothing to worry about.

Iv got da same SRI an it's boxed.. Sounds like Darth Vader under da bonnet!! It's kinda scary at 1st but nothing 2 worry bout.. Just enjoy having power all the way 2 6000rpm like 1 do

Yep, sounds much better and pulls earlier and longer.

I love the darth vadar, but still getting to grips with the owl. Lol

lol. That would have been usefull last night when someone coming in the oposite direction decided to drive entirely in my lane. nice if i could choke them while im at it.......im a little bit vindictive
A kettle? if you got steam coming out of the bonnet when you come on boost there is something going horribly wrong mate
