Default My first mods. K&N Typhoon Intake and PG Turbo Inlet Pipe

Looks like I will have a busy time on the weekend, last friday I got a K&N Typhoon Intake from a seller on ebay, its looks great but then today in the post I got my PG Turbo Inlet Pipe from MZR Performance (DISIMS3 on here), it looks fantastic, its polished finish is awesome only thing I wish is you would see more of it once its installed. Thanks Tim I am extremely happy with the finish and quality. Here is a pic of them, once its in Ill update this thread with pics of it all installed. and give my impressions.

    Bring on the weekend

    Nice choices.

Be sure to let us know what you think once they're installed.

The weekend is here, so today I installed the PG TIP and K&N Typhoon intake, everything went well and the TIP just fit in place perfectly, I had read some threads on the USA forums saying how hard it is to get the TIP in place etc. All I did was follow the instructions that came with it and it was easy, it all just fell into place, I got to let you know I was relieved that it all want to plan. The K&N Typhoon also all just fit in place perfectly and it is solidly in place. First impressions when I went for a drive was, I love that sound! Now it sounds like I am driving a Turbo car. also the longer I drove, it really feel smoother and definately more responsive, oh and I love that sound, I have not really given it WOT yet since the install, will build up a few more Kms first. Did I mention I love that sound

The only down side is that the PG TIP is a fantastic looking piece of bling bling but its well hidden from sight behind and under everything, I just may have to get a FMIC and take off the engine cover so it can be seen. Anyway Here is a few pics of it all installed.

    Cheers.
