Default Dual Exhaust on MPS 3

Has anyone thought about or actually fitted a dual exhaust system to thier 3?
Does anyone know if it can be done?
I know the 6 has them, but am not sure what the under-side of the 3 is like.

I know of a couple of twin exhausts done to normal 3s and they worked great, loud but good.

Take it to an exhaust shop and they will be able to sort you out for sure only thing is moding the rear bumper for the extra tip.

twin exhausts FTW! would look very nice, but I'd be a little worried about the cutting mods to the bumper. Cut = permanent

Yeah, cut would be permanent. But I don't think I'd be going back to a single if I could make it a Dual!!

If you were committed to doing it a body kit would solve the problem with the extra hole...I'm sure there is a kit out there which has twin holes.

    True.
I know it sounds hypocritical, but I wouldn't want to change the rest of the car's appearance tho - I quite like the standard look of the car.
The cut-out would be in the bit that would not have to be painted to, so no dramas there.
Still, I met a guy with an XR8 that had his bumper specially modified for a twin exhaust. Had it moulded off the original, looked factory.

Flame throwers ... haha .. always a great way of getting rid of tailgaters

As mentioned above, a few of the NA 3's have been done
Not overly costly to get the rear bumper modified

I know a good place in Malaga if your keen
They did my system - cheapest quote i got in Perth for full Xforce system with headers
    PM if you want details

The 3 MPS actually has a cutout on the drivers side. Get under the car and have a look, you could easily remove the lower trim, get it customised and then refit it. Then get the exhaust modified. That piece may cost a bit to replace eventually though if you go to sell the car as a stock item.

Tufmps has a dual exhaust, he informed me that it cost about $400.

I made a one off custom dual exhaust for a laser, performance wise it's not really worth it.

    photo,

Not a very good photo, but you get that idea.
