Nice Use of the factory cold air pick up. Heat shield looks like it will do the job. Nice work mate!

Hi, I've been looking for an SRI that is enclosed in a box like this one as it makes it legal in NSW, and it looks great I must say. I'm very interested, but I have a few questions.
Seeing that it is completely enclosed, it would seem that the air flow would be restrictive. So wouldn't this mean there wouldn't be that much improvement over the stock airbox? Likewise with the induction noise, would this be louder than the stock airbox?

It's not fully enclosed per-se. If you look at the side, you can kinda see the filter poking its head out.
The CES SRI still makes use of the cold air pickup from the existing air box.
The SRI is less restrictive than the stock box, thus turbo spooling & fuel economy improve.
As far as the induction noise is concerned, if your driving like a nanna, you won't hear much, drive like you stole it... another story.
Drop a message to 2XS - he works for CES.

That looks wicked. Good job 2XS.
I'm up for one of these after the wife has finished the XMAS shopping - provided she leaves me some
How much would postage be to Sydney?
Easy enough install for a hack like me?

CES SRI HPC coated with painted heatsheild and lid is $500
CES SRI painted with heatsheild and lid is $400
We use hi-temp paint when painting these. It's the same paint we use on our exhausts, it doesn't come off easy.
I can find out about postage, around $20-25 I'd say.
It is a simple install.

Hey mate, can you advise on a price for just the airbox itself?
Cheers
