Designing my own Sri airbox

Hey guys today whilst I waited for the paint of my intercooler shroud to dry I was looking at ways I can get air into the Sri.

So far I've got an idea of what I want to do and I've designed a piece out of cardboard.

I'm thinking of putting a hole into the right intercooler vent and using the vent by attaching the tunnel thingy I design ( so far cardboard ) and directing it into a airbox..
