Induction and BOV gone quiet. What's wrong?!

When I first installed the Hi-Tuned Performance Turbo Inlet Pipe (Polished Aluminum) and SURE Motorsports Aeros Short Ram Intake, my induction noise was unbelievably loud and sounded very nice.
Also the Turbosmart Dual Port BOV was noticeably louder!

Now... it is just noticeably QUIETER!

I don't know if it's my mind playing tricks on me, but a few of my friends asked me why is the BOV not as loud anymore and one even said the induction is not as loud as it used to be!

Is this a normal thing to happen over time since the first time installing when BRAND new? Has anyone else had this problem? If not what could be the problem? I've checked my pod filter and it is still brand new, and it's only been a few weeks since I installed.

I've had mine for over 18 months now and I thought the same thing as you. I believe it's just as loud but I've gotten use to it

Probably find your ecu had adjusted to your new intake

I find that my induction noise varies day to day depending on how I drive... Am pretty sure temperature and air pressure might have something to do with it as well...

It was also a lot louder after my ecu got reset

Check for leaks between the BPV and recirculation hose/pipe.

hotter and colder i notice its different.. colder is alot more noise.

There are no leaks, and I reset the ECU the other day, same noise.

You got used to it... I'm the same i think mine has quiet down a bit and was considering getting a new BOV cause of it. But then heard someone else drive it and was like F**K thats sounds loud so yeah its all in the head. lol
