Mazda 6 MPS - Exhaust Muffler and Resonators?

It's a constriction. Not sure whether it'll make a tangible difference because it's splitting into two pipes. Will let someone else comment on that.

the joining welds look pretty average though...

i got the ces racing system on my 3, its a 3" stainless system turbo back and i had a resonator colapase and make a rattle so CES removed the resonator and now my car is a bit louder. after 3k revs thou its a monster

It would be very loud driving without the mufflers on the stock system. Not recommended, not to mention EPA would be all over you, so do it at your own risk.

Just out of interest, what are you trying to achieve, or what do you think you will achieve with a muffler delete?
