    Default Change oil filter

    Im guessing a lot of you guys change your own oil can someone tell me how hard it is to get the oil filter off and what tools or can i twist it off with my hands.

    It's probably easier to use one of these tools

    I just used the oil fitler tool you find at common auto hardware stores

    Apart from being tight, its pretty easy considering the location of the oil filter, couldn't ask for it to be much easier.
    Unlikely you can twist it off with your hands as it might be greasy, worth a shot though, clean it first for a good grip.
    It can be a bit messy so I advise put a tarp or plastic sheeting down incase of spillage
