Mu secret has very good HID kits.

Bit expensive but they come with a lifetime warranty on the ballasts so it sort of works out.

I would go for Kaixen Kit. They are made in Korea. Jump onto ozmazdaclub as they are a sponser there

Thanks guys. There is a seller @ ebay which provides HID kits to dealers such as Alto group @ Pennant Hills (right next to home) and its $117 but the ballast only has 1 year warranty. Just wondering if it would be worth while... hmmm...

Stick to the better brands mate.

Just because they are sold to a dealer doesnt make them good...just cheap lol.

from what i know .. the 09 mps's headlights are xenon pretty much the same as HID's, so if you want the more bluey colour [8000k hids] u just need to change the globe, these globes are called d2s globes. ive ordered mine should recieve it soon.

Thats if you bought the luxury/sports pack.

If you went for the pov pack, you'd need the ballast etc etc

    Yup DA.

I got the pov pack...and If I want HID's I will just spend $250 odd and put some in...bugger paying $3.5k for gimmics

$250 worth of Illegal. HID needs sensors on your suspension and real time angle adjustment so you don't blind on coming traffic.

    HI guys,

Sorry for bringing up an old thread. I have a 2008 MPS3 with the sports pack. I want to change the high beams to HID (as only the low beams were HID). Would this be illegal? If not, what would I need for the upgrade? Any self-install instructions if I were to do this conversion myself?

    Thanks guys

Are there any kits thate *are* Legal?

If not I guess bright bulbs in the foggies are the way to go..

Not that Im aware of, you need to have sensors on your front and rear suspension, and high speed angle adjustmest on the bulbs themselves so that people cant be flashed by them.

Yeah, was hoping there was a kit about.

Anyone wanna recommend some decent bulbs for the foglights?

Hi guys, about to do a HID conversion to a m8s MPS and for the life of me not sure what bulb fitment it is. Im only looking at changing the high beam to HID as the low beam bulb is already a Xenon.

So what is the Highbeam bulb in the mazda 3 MPS ? Ive heard remours that it may be a H7, but any actual ideas would be great
