Hey All, so I had a wheel alignment at my 40k service last week. The Fulcrum man had a look at the results and deemed them ok. He suggested they adjusted the rear end to combat the wear issues that those of us with GENII's are having.
But now I'm getting this drone as highway speeds. At low speed, say 10k/h, I can hear a repetitive noise like something is stuck to the tyre.
Is it normal to have some extra, albeit, temporary noise while the car wears in the change tread pattern?
I can't see anything obvious, nail, dead cat, etc, so I'm thinking it's the tread somehow.
Any thoughts?

Dale: Okay, first of all, they're extremely comfortable. And second of all, at this point in your life, if you haven't seen a bulge, well, I just feel sorry for you.

Unevenly worn tread is capable of making droning sounds. Without actually hearing the sound myself it's hard to comment, but since the tyre's contact geometry has changed it'll sound a little different. How much air have you got in them? Try running different pressures, say 40F/R and then 35F/R and see if the sound changes.

Ta, I'll try that.

yeah sounds like you have scalloped tires, it happens very often with high performance tires and bad alignment
